iCloud information applies to versions with an iCloud save switch in settings. Earlier versions keep your journey on the device.

What is Formy Quest?

Formy Quest is your main adventure through 20 levels and a secret finale. Clear a level with at least 90% to unlock the next. Formy celebrates a pass before your score breakdown, and offers encouragement when you fall short.

Can I finish a round later?

Yes. Questions, answers and your place save automatically. Use Save & exit from the pause screen, or close the app. Choose Continue round to pick up where you left off. With iCloud save enabled, unfinished rounds also sync to your other devices. Wait for Up to date in settings before switching devices. Continuing a round on another device preserves its exact puzzles and answers. If you play different attempts offline, both remain in Saved rounds.

Can I practice patterns I missed?

After a Formy Quest round in Levels 1–14, Practice missed patterns gives you five fresh puzzles using the formats you missed, with hints and explanations. This practice does not change your quest score or unlock levels. Levels 15–21 never feed this guided practice, keeping their solutions sealed.

How does Daily Five work?

Daily Five uses the highest level you have earned, with five different formats from that level. Its difficulty stays fixed once you start that day's set. Complete all five puzzles at any score and the card grays out until midnight UTC. Earn daily achievements after 1, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 100 completed days; they do not need to be consecutive. Abandoned rounds do not count. Visits completed before signing in join the first Game Center account you connect.

How do levels open?

Level 1 has 10 puzzles across five simple formats. Each new level adds a format and two questions, up to 30 questions at Level 11. Later levels replace earlier formats. Score at least 90% to advance; perfect Levels 1–20 to open the 40-question secret Level 21. Solutions and answer reviews are unavailable from Level 15 onward. You can always replay.

What does my score mean?

Your pattern score counts correct answers. Accuracy is the percentage you got right. Tests are untimed, and speed never affects rankings. Formy is a puzzle game, not a standardized IQ assessment.

Why are ranked levels different?

Ranked progression is separate from local testing progress. Connect Game Center and choose a ranked level in the trophy hub. Old local rounds and testing rounds are not uploaded.

Where is my progress?

Your journey saves on this device and can sync through your private iCloud account. Check iCloud save in Formy's settings for its status or tap Sync now. Use the same iCloud account on your iPhone and iPad. Best scores stay earned and Daily Five dates count once. Changing iCloud accounts opens a separate journey; switch back to return to the previous one. Game Center sign-in is independent and never moves another player's ranked scores to your account.

Can I play offline?

Yes. Daily Five, Practice and Formy Quest work without signing in. Progress saves locally first. Enabled iCloud syncing retries when a connection returns, and an incoming save never replaces the puzzle you are playing. Eligible ranked results retry separately through Game Center. You can retry cloud saving from settings or Game Center from the trophy hub.

Motion and haptics

Formy follows your device's Reduce Motion setting. You can turn gentle haptics on or off in Formy's settings.
